The pendant lamp A333 “Turnip” designed by Alvar Aalto is a classic that he originally designed in the 1950s for the canteen of the Helsinki Social Insurance Institution headquarters, where it still lights up. The pendant lamp A333 is suitable for a wide range of spaces and interior styles, as it is simply elegant and sculptural. You can hang it over a dining table or island, for example. The lamp is made of painted steel, and the decorative ring on its lower edge is made of brass-plated steel. The light is filtered through the rings on the top of the lampshade, creating soft and atmospheric lighting. The perforated ring decorating the lower edge of the lampshade reduces glare.
Shade: hand-turned steel, ring is steel.
