Tammiston valaisin is a continuation of the story of Valomanni, which has been operating in Myyrmäki for over 30 years. The work with light, which began in 1995, has been built on personal service, quality and the idea that a well-made lamp is not disposable.

Tammiston valaisin specializes in Finnish lighting design and lamp repair. The space brings together Finnish manufacturers, industry professionals and customers who value domesticity, repairability and genuine expertise.

Tammiston valaisin is a new beginning, but the same basic idea remains: customer encounters and lighting solutions tailored to the customer's space and needs.

Esko Vaisänen

Esko Väisänen is the founder of the company and is an electrical technician by training.

He has been an entrepreneur and salesperson in the lighting industry for over 30 years and has seen how lighting trends and customer needs have changed.

During this time, Esko has maintained and repaired over 10,000 luminaires. The experience is evident in his confidence and calm approach to work.

Leisure activities include boating and fishing, and gardening is also close to my heart.

Tuukka Remes

Tuukka Remes joined the family business as an entrepreneur in January 2026.

He also has a background in interior and spatial design, as well as content production.

Tuukka's interest lies in how commercial space can also be culturally meaningful.

The goal is to develop the showroom into an entity where domestic lighting design, knowledge and stories come together.
