We are open weekdays 9-17 and Saturdays 10-15.

Tammiston valaisin – showroom + service point brings together domestic lighting design and its creators, as well as lighting maintenance and spare parts services.

We also offer an expanded selection of lampshades and specialty bulbs, including smart lighting solutions and handmade, domestic lampshades.

In addition to the online store, this website will also include information and stories about Finnish lighting design.

The online store will open in January.

Esko Vaisänen

“Tammiston valaisin is built on long experience and a culture of repair.”

Esko Väisänen is the founder of the company and is an electrical technician by training.

He has been an entrepreneur and salesperson in the lighting industry for over 30 years and has seen how lighting trends and customer needs have changed.

During this time, Esko has maintained and repaired over 10,000 luminaires. The experience is evident in his confidence and calm approach to work.

Leisure activities include boating and fishing, and gardening is also close to my heart.

Tuukka Remes

“Tammiston valaisin is built on the idea that a commercial space can also be cultural.”

Tuukka Remes joined the family business as an entrepreneur in January 2026.

He also has a background in interior and spatial design, as well as content production.

Tuukka's interest lies in how commercial space can also be culturally meaningful.

The goal is to develop the showroom into an entity where domestic lighting design, knowledge and stories come together.
